Thank you 2020 for the biggest gift!

Taking forward from the last post, the “saag” was gorged on with “makki” roti and “lassi”, and lots of people on the dining table. Seven to be precise. You know the maths by now of the number of people we are at the moment. You can read it here. After that we have had a few celebratory lunches and dinners as this part of the year marked a birthday and an anniversary.

Touchwood, this year has symbolised a lot of family time for us. It was only when we looked back at the years and tried to figure out when was the last time we were all together as a family, to our shock it was almost two decades ago in 2000. Our (siblings) educational and professional journeys took us far wide. After 2000, it is only now that we are back as a family. So if I was to pick the best part of 2020, I would say this year turned back the time and gave us the family back. One of the best years of my life family-wise.
