MY SOULITUDE

My Soulitude

What’s Up?

Months after that stormy unforgettable morning walk and wishing myself happy birthday, here I am today, again. Just to check my dying blog, like I always do.

All is well in the world otherwise, in spite of many humans dying and many being born in the meanwhile. The earth is still there existing and rotating with multitudes of people living their lives experiencing both misery and bliss.

The Nepal tragedy has been heart-wrenching. The world has come to a point where we watch live tragedies. Imagine, seeing people die in our small mobile phones. It shocks and stuns you, but mostly makes you freeze.

Just yesterday, I saw a post on Instagram about an author’s untimely death. She was 80 born, same as mine birth year. It made me freeze for a while to see a person born in my birth year die. Don’t know why. Just saying for what it was.

She has written a novel “Jhapak”, if I am correct. I am not fact checking as this post is impromtu and will later correct the wrong if I found it to be so.

Jhapak, what a poignant word to choose, I thought. I didn’t know her personally but the loss felt personal. Life changes in the wink of an eye, we all know that. And she left this world in a Jhapak, and one day we all will. It makes life both sad and happy. My condolences.

Every breath i take, I am well aware it may be the last. So, till we breathe, take care and keep praying!
