Loneliness!

Haven’t known loneliness for a really long time. For may be around two years or so. Since the time we shifted homes, from Ghaziabad to nearer home, and most importantly, since A stopped touring incessantly. Corona further shrunk A’s movement and work from home became the new reality. My parents moved in with my brother, who has shifted in my society. He gave up his Gurgaon flat and shifted closer home. My sister stays there too since her office in Mumbai also closed down. All of these changes occurred as an aftermath of corona pandemic.

So, in a new beautiful reality, we all are pretty much staying together in the same society. I can go anytime to my parent’s place for tea, food, love, conversation, etc. I can just ring up my sister for a late-night walk. A and I make frequent visits to in-laws place as its nearer now with way less traffic than it was from Ghaziabad and Gurgaon. (for a context, you can read this). I am not sure how long this beautiful phase will last. As a hunch, I feel not too long for good times usually wind up early. But let’s see, and may be put in a little more faith in life.

Though I am the sort of person who can feel lonely in a crowd, and is in great company with the self, but touchwood, haven’t felt lonely in a really really long time.
